Finishes you cannot find in direct sunlight.

Discipline 01 · Refinish

Invisible Color Match

Factory paint codes get you close. They don't account for a decade of California sun, or the batch variance the car left the plant with. We read the vehicle's actual color with a spectrophotometer, formulate to the instrument's numbers, and spray test cards until the match is verified before a panel is touched.

Then the color is blended across adjacent panels, not stopped at the repair line. Insurers often approve paint for the damaged panel alone, a recipe for visible mismatch. We fight for the refinish hours that make the transition disappear.

Ceramic Protection

A ceramic coating is a sacrificial glass layer bonded to the clear coat: 9H surface hardness against wash marring and light scratches, a UV shield against the Chico summers that dull paint by degrees, and a hydrophobic surface that sheds water, road film, and bug residue instead of letting them etch in.

We only coat paint we'd put our name on: every ceramic application starts with paint correction and instrument-checked prep, because sealing defects under glass preserves them forever. Maintenance is a rinse, and film integrity is rated in years.

Discipline 03 · Detailing

Concours Detailing

Paint correction in measured stages (cut, polish, refine), with gloss checked under inspection lighting between each pass. Interiors get the same discipline: leather fed and conditioned, trim detailed to the seams.

Beyond the Road

Marine & Aviation Finishing

Local pilots and boat owners bring MKC their aircraft and vessels, work where finish failure isn't cosmetic. Gelcoat lives in constant UV and water exposure; aircraft skins demand aerospace-grade surface standards and exact color continuity across large, unforgiving panels.

Airframes and hulls set the finishing standard here. Your quarter panel is held to it.
